Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (“RAF”) and Abdullah Abdulghani Foundation for Civilizational Communication signed, on the morning of last Thursday, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement aims to strengthen coordination and joint collaboration between the two parties in charitable and cultural projects, as well as in the exchange of expertise and information, the organization of seminars, workshops, and lectures, the conducting of research and studies, the exchange of visits, and the issuance of publications and periodicals related to charitable and voluntary work.
The agreement was signed on behalf of RAF by Dr. Aidh bin Dabsan Al Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Director General, while it was signed on behalf of the Foundation for Civilizational Communication by Mr. Salman bin Abdullah Al Abdulghani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Both parties affirmed that there are a number of points at which the two institutions intersect in their journeys — in fulfillment of their respective visions and of Qatar National Vision in general — with regard to shared services and fields. Both organizations work in the area of sustainable community development and share several common objectives and domains, which were culminated by the signing of this blessed agreement.
