Qatar National Day

December 18, 2027 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

Qatar National Day commemorates the founding of the State of Qatar by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani in 1878 — a defining moment that laid the foundations of the modern Qatari state and shaped its journey toward unity, sovereignty, and prosperity.

Observed annually on the 18th of December, the day reflects the deep-rooted values of national identity, loyalty, and pride that bind together the people of Qatar across generations. It serves as a moment to honor the country’s heritage, celebrate its achievements, and reaffirm its commitment to continued growth and leadership.

Throughout the day, the nation comes alive with a wide range of cultural, civic, and ceremonial activities — including traditional performances, the heritage parade along the Doha Corniche, military and aviation displays, fireworks, and family-oriented community events that showcase Qatar’s authentic traditions alongside its modern progress.

At Hadara Foundation, we mark this occasion by celebrating the values that define our nation — knowledge, identity, and community — and by reaffirming our commitment to contributing to Qatar’s developmental journey in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.

This event is open to all members of the community, families, and partners who wish to share in the celebration of Qatar’s national pride.
