Dr. Buthaina Al Abdulghani at the Closing of “Wa’d Al-Akhira”: Building Awareness is the Strongest Form of Resistance

Hadara Foundation for Research and Community Development participated in the closing of the distinguished event “Promise of the Hereafter” (Wa’d Al-Akhira), organized by “Iliya Club” at Qatar University. Dr. Buthaina bint Abdullah Al Abdulghani, Chairperson of the Board of the Foundation, delivered an address in which she emphasized the fundamental role of youth in carrying the responsibility of the word and spreading awareness of the Ummah’s defining causes.

Knowledge and Faith in Harmony

Dr. Buthaina expressed Hadara Foundation’s pride in participating in this student-led initiative, commending the intellectual messages and faith-based experiences presented by Iliya Club — ones that embody the great values upon which the Ummah was founded. She affirmed that this event is not merely a university activity, but rather a conscious embodiment of the historical and religious bond to the cause of Jerusalem and Palestine.

Youth and the Making of Awareness

In a message addressed to the students of Qatar University, Dr. Buthaina underscored that the building of awareness represents the fundamental pillar of civilizational advancement, saying:

“At Hadara Foundation, we believe that building awareness is the strongest form of resistance. These blessed student initiatives are among the highest expressions of advancement — when youth come forward with their awareness and take their place at the forefront of articulation.”

A Historical Responsibility

The address concluded by affirming that the Ummah’s return to its religious and historical equilibrium begins through such conscious platforms — commending the ability of Qatari youth to connect knowledge with action and to commit to just causes, in harmony with Hadara Foundation’s vision of empowering future generations and instilling values within them.
